Get to Know me - The books that got me hooked on M/M Romance

The Temptation Series by Ella Frank is hands-down my all-time favorite romance series—and it was the very first M/M romance I ever read. I binged the entire thing (all six books) in just a few days, and I’ve been obsessed ever since, It's a comfort read for me now. Logan and Tate completely stole my heart, and this series remains the gold standard for me when it comes to passionate, addictive, character-driven M/M romance.

The story kicks off with Try, where confident, charismatic lawyer Logan, he's a total player who’s used to getting what he wants. Until he sets his sights on Tate, a recently divorced bartender trying to rebuild his life after a toxic marriage. What starts as undeniable chemistry and temptation quickly evolves into something much deeper. Logan challenges Tate in every way—pushing boundaries, sparking self-discovery, and showing him a love that

doesn’t fit into neat boxes. Their banter is sharp, flirty, and hilarious; their connection is electric; and the steam is off-the-charts intense from the very beginning.

The series spans years and follows Logan and Tate through every stage of their relationship: the exhilarating early days of discovery and passion (Try, Take, Trust), navigating commitment and real-life challenges and some serious family drama. Tease, and later books like Tate and the finale True dive into long-term love, personal growth, family dynamics, and solidifying their forever. Ella Frank doesn’t rush their journey—she lets it breathe, showing the highs, the lows, the laughter, the tears, and the profound bond that only grows stronger over time. By the end, you’re not just rooting for them—you feel like you know them.

What makes this series so special is the perfect balance of scorching heat, witty dialogue, emotional depth, and character development. Logan’s playful dominance and Tate’s strength and vulnerability create one of the most iconic, swoon-worthy couples in romance. Their love feels raw and real. The writing is addictive; the pages fly by; and even on re-reads, it hits just as hard.

One of the absolute highlights for me was the incredible supporting cast. These side characters are so beloved and well-developed that they feel like extended family—you can’t help but root for them too. The world feels rich and alive because of them. I especially loved Robbie, Priest, and Julien. Their personalities, sharp banter, and evolving dynamics added so much depth, humor, and excitement. Robbie appears as a memorable side character in the series, and getting to dive into his own story (along with Priest and Julien) in their dedicated books was pure joy—it made the entire interconnected universe even more immersive and addictive.

it’s the series that made me fall in love with this genre, and it still holds the top spot for me years later.
