I love books by Jesse H. Reign, but this has to be one of my favourites of hers.
Gone Wild (Wild Hearts Book 1) is everything I want in an omegaverse read. Snowed-in cabin. Ex-boyfriend’s older brother. One very surprised omega who forgot his suppressants… leading to the sweetest, spiciest heat ever.
Branson is an absolute sweetheart of an alpha while still keeping that strong, masculine alpha energy. The chemistry between him and Lucien is nuclear, the caretaking is *chef’s kiss*, and their banter is hilarious. Lucien is the perfect amount of bratty and chaotic, and Branson is the ultimate green-flag alpha who will absolutely ruin you for all other alphas. The spice? Unhinged. Perfectly unhinged.
I listened to the audiobook and the dual narration by Liam DiCosimo and Michael Dean is an absolute 10/10. Liam DiCosimo slayed as Lucien , he nailed every sarcastic quip and vulnerable moment with so much personality that I could picture him perfectly. And Michael Dean’s deep, rumbling, growly alpha voice for Branson? Devastating in the best way. The way he delivers those protective lines and the filthy heat scenes… just wow.
I devoured this book.
If you love forced proximity, ex’s brother, surprise heats, knotting, and an alpha who will move mountains for his omega, this one is for you. Jesse H. Reign just knocked it out of the park.
Can’t wait for the next one on audiobook because I need more of this world immediately. 🔥
