Ahhh this book was so Good !!
When Wyatt’s brother is in desperate need after an accident, he turns to the mysterious organisation known as The Firm… and very reluctantly ends up in a fake marriage with Matthias, his former best friend who betrayed him years ago. What follows is a deliciously angsty, tension-filled enemies-to-lovers story packed with forced proximity, old wounds, secrets, and slow-burn trust rebuilding. The chemistry between these two is intense and beautiful, the banter is sharp, and the emotional payoff is so satisfying.
The mix of romance, intrigue, and character growth is perfect. It’s angsty without being overwhelming, steamy in the best way, and the fake marriage trope is executed so well. I was fully invested in Wyatt and Matthias’s journey the whole time.
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Harley Chase and he did an outstanding job. His performance brought so much depth and emotion to the characters
If you love secret societies and morally grey vibes with plenty of heat and heart, this one is top tier.
